I am not a writter by nature, but like to document things. Offcourse I have not written this BLOG to document my experience but intension is to share something which made moments happen for me. So herewith i am going to share my very first experience to GOAAAAAAAAA.

GOA as it sounds exciting, clam, cool, to make a fool like me to be there..hehehehe. Well, a very wise fool to be in such a great place on this earth. I am going to narrate this story without real names & incidents so in case if any incident or name of person in this write up relates to someone will be purely coincidental. In case anyone feels obsessive please let me know and I will be ready to remove the complete BLOG out from here.
So here I URF Hitz gooo..

"We are going to GOA"
"Wow! so exiciting, so whats the plan?? who all are we going?? when are we moving out from city?? how do we go?? which dates have been fixed??"
"Hang on, Hitz!!!! GOA trip is in its very early stage of planning. Infact I and Saggy spoke about this yesterday and felt like conveying you too."
"Okay, but still you folks might have decided something by now, right."
"Not actually but what is decided is date and commuince."
"That's what I was guessing. If you have spoken something then you definately have something may be at a least side but planned something. I knew."
"Hmmm...We are planning a 4 day trip exactly one month from now so we'll be starting 24th Dec 2006 and back in Pune on 26th Dec 2006." said Viks.
I started thinking whether which day a week those days will be and if thats a weekday will I get a holiday on those days. Anyways I had already planned to take a leave in last week of December.
Viks continued... "Hitz, We are going to make this trip exceptional. Guess how can we make it possible?"
I was completely delighted with the concept of going to GOA as I had never been out of Maharastra except once to Gujarat. I still tried to think to answer that question. "Hmm...Huhhhh...I thinkkkkkkkk.... Well, we would...."
I was so delighted that I couldn't even guess something different for this trip.
As usual Viks relaxed me from answering yet another difficult question, atleast it seemed to be on the situation. "We are ridding to GOA from PUNE.".
"What??????????????????? Have you gone nuts, such a long drive" I always considered myself to be one of the best ridder in town and always felt that I have a very good control on Pulsar type bikes. I have made one trip on bike that was 200Kms in total but GOA, its far-off and I was not feeling confident ridding bikes till GOA. Well I didn't exactly know the distance from Pune and thought it should be more than 900Kms.
"Hitz... comeone I know you are one of the best bikers in Pune. Infact we cogitated you to be best for this trip. You just think over it okay and GOA is just 500Kms from here, you ride your bike 500Kms just in couple of days in city. Then whats the problem??" You know this is the best way people can convience anyone, say something good about them in a negative way and person is confused is that a compliement or statment against him. Person has to compulsorily fall in trap.
"Oh! ya I ride my bike 500Kms just like in a week, then why not in a day. 500Kms oh! is it so near" I spoke to myself.
I mouthed "Okay". It gives you a tensed feeling when you are not able to prove your point properly. But here there was no such situation where in I had to prove anything but still felt a bit tensed. Now who cares, I started thinking about I being in GOA and experiencing all those things I had just heard by then. I just recalled I had to go home; MOM had called me.
I averred "Viks I have to reach home man.. I will speak to you about these, this weekend. Pls give me a call k."
"Yes sure, FYI I have already mailed a copy to your personal mailbox." Viks corroborated "That tells me that you dont check your personal mailbox so often. Do check your mailbox henceforth till our GOA trip is a success. k.". He finally had to shout to complete his sentence as I started to walk down from the place.
I kept on thinking about the trip and things that I can do there, the whole night. It excited me. Next morning, I still had the warmth of the converstation Viks & I had last evening. I listed out what all things I will need if I have to ride my bike and stuff I will need in GOA. I also had to check out the email that Saggy or Viks had sent. Our all converstations started and continued on emails. So someone had to do bookings in GOA, someone to have Digicam ready, someone to become cashier for trip, a guide personality etc. All such type of converstations we had, even we discussed which route to go, haults etc.

Slowly slowly our plan started getting concrete, we earlier were 5 people but finalised count went to 6 and to name them they were, Viks, Saggy, Nish, Nimi, Ani & Hitz. Meanwhile I had got all the stuff I had listed, the lovable items I got were my new Ridding JACKET, Glowes, and Monkey cap. That gave me pleasure of being a perfect Biker boy. I was very delirious with concept of going on BIKE. I was thinking to take my PULSAR and had told Rishi, my younger brother to get bike in proper condition. I had to rely on him as he now owns the bike and uses for his work. But unfortunately the servicing people screwed by bike further, eventually leaving me in no condition to take it for a longer journey.

It was 19st December evening where we all got together at Relax, a coffee shop at Shakar Nagar to check out on action items on individuals.
Nish began "Gang, its being a great response from all of us in planning and sharing action items."
He continued "So lets stick to the action items dicussed on emails and lets have the status here, okay."
Saggy "Stick!!! which stick??? where are sticks here?? hehehehe.. do you mean to say icecream sticks?? hey you recall we had those icecreams..."
"Shutup, Saggy.." Viks gagged Saggy.
You might be wondering what Saggy tried to say in between, right? Earlier I too used to get confused when Saggy cracking such un-related jokes in between where someone is speaking. I understood one thing of him, he is a good guy and try to make people laugh by picking a word from earlier persons sentences and add some comic sense, hence he no more surprises me. Take it from me, I very rarely have bursted laughing on his jokes but had no confidence to make him experience that he is a very bad JOKER. Due to his such a nature you will hardly experience him starting any important converstation himself, he needs some one to start off and then he can take the converstation further with wrapper of jokes on the serious content.
"Sorry for a pathetic joke, guys." Saggy giggled.
Nish continued "Viks and Ani, where are we on room bookings."
Ani replied "We are trying to get in touch with our contacts through whom we had last year booked rooms. But it seems its going to be difficult getting a room this time."
Saggy, Nimi & I in chorus "You must be kiddin' us".
Viks tried to get us from shock "Its not the way you think. We are not going to get the flat that we got last year, as its been already booked. Goa is not out of flats, there not just one flat in GOA for rent, okay."
"Ya right, we are in touch with out contact person and he has promised to get us another place to stay in." Ani added.
"Oh! we thought we are out of flats in whole GOA... hehehehehehe" Saggy replied.
Trust me, we were shocked and asked ourselves "what the hell is going on, we are so near to the actual trip date and we dont have a place to live in." This is what always happens from my experience on trips, something has to go wrong somewhere making us impatient. But in such harsh conditions if your trip is a success it gives you immense pleasure. Again for me in this trip we had something out of control.
"We will sleep on streets, roads, cruises, what ever we get but we are going to go.. okay." I said. Actually I just said to make my presence I didn't even mean on what I said but my sentence was a hit at that time.
All my friends acknowledged saying "thats the spirit" and helped everyone boost their feeling for this trip.
"Thats the type of spirit and boosting factor Newton would had got to invent the space stars. hehehehehehehe". Saggy again in his usual style.
I wondered "Did Newton invent that??? I always thought he was a mathematician who invented gravity and motion laws.". But indeed a very good joke on the spot that made we all laugh in a puzzle. That sentence from Saggy definately dropped a question in me "Who invented and named the first star?" also "Which century it was invented?".
Nimi got the converstation back on track "Enough of jokes. I think we all should start applying our contacts to get a good flat."
Nish "Ya you are right, we need to hunt for a good place somewhere near Panaji."
Ani "The final plan if we dont get any place to be, we will stay in a hotel.".
Everyone nodded.

Saggy & I had got some google maps, we presented that to team. The best way to reach Panaji from Pune is NH4, thats what it seemed from Google Maps.
Ani kind of snatched the maps from me and Saggy and started "Look guys, we have to start from Pune at 5:30am sharp and ride on NH4. From Kholhapur we have a 'PHATA' to go to NH-17, and from here we have a direct route to PANAJI". He explained the same thing by showing the proper path with his finger on map, this was the time I understood the route he meant. It was all charging up, really. I felt I am a proper biker boy driving on highways and got some memories from movie TORQUE in front.
We further discussed on all compulsory things to carry and departed exactly after 2hrs from the Relax.

I had couple of my friends from GOA working in my office. I just asked Archies, my friend from GOA working with me about flats availability in GOA. She guranted that we'll get something via her contacts and fortunately we her new flat to stay in. All it happened just in couple of days from last meet. As routinaly I had to mail everyone with status in the evening, here I had a very big news for everyone, we had got a flat to stay in. After I informed we just had spamming done via emails, everyone congratulating each other. Rightly so, we had come down so far planning for this trip and big obstacle till that moment for our basic commodity needed for trip, PLACE TO LIVE, which was now resolved. "No more obstacles." I said to myself sitting in office.

We had to meet that day, 21st, we again met at Relax for COFFEE late night around 10pm. So we got together to finalize and give a good shape to our such a beautiful plan.
"Hitz you with Saggy" Viks started off deciding.
"Nimi & Nish, Ani & I together" Viks finalised about partners on bikes.
"Everyone will have each other visible through side mirrors, while driving. In case any one of us is not visible we should hault." Ani started bombarding us with rules.
"We have to start of at 5:30am. Everyone meets at Viks place early morning." Ani stopped saying that.
Ani and Viks both gave all these rules as they already had been once to GOA on Bikes. We also decided upon things to carry from here, things to buy in there, our rough plan in GOA, route that we'll choose to go from here and while coming back. The one thing very nice about our plan was "NO HURRY". We all had one goal, enjoy in what ever we do in this trip, hence we had to enjoy ridding and not hurry up in travelling.

So day after tomorrow is our travelling day. Part-II will be continuation of this part.
